About West Bridgewater Real Estate |
The West Bridgewater MA real estate market is much smaller than either Bridgewater or Stoughton. The town has a population of fewer than 6000 people and has an extreme country feel. The home styles are mainly Colonial and Cape Cod and the zoning requires lots of ½ to 1 acre minimum. Historic homes are also available from time to time. These are located near the quaint town center. The Town Center truly is the center of this community. | |

More than half the households have one stay at home parent who often is involved with the schools and with the town government. West Bridgewater is a small residential town bordering on the City of Brockton , and located at the junction of Routes 24 and 106. This access along with availability of land has resulted in increased commercial, warehouse and industrial activity near the highway in this community which was once primarily agricultural. The town does, however, retain working farms which contribute to its scenic character. |
